BKN: Coach Beverly Kiser-Nutt
TH: Tessa Hamilton, owner of My Baby’s Bubblegum
BKN: What do you do, and for how long have you been doing it?
TH: We are a Christian based company in High Point, NC. Keeping customers happy is our number one goal. I started the company in 1994 in Cleveland, OH. We do silk screening, embroidery, signage, any printed items, logos, and digital marketing is our most recent addition.
BKN: Who is your best customer or target customer?
TH: Our best customer was a hotel, but we also target schools and sports teams for uniforms.
BKN: What has been the biggest impact of COVID-19 on your business?
TH: The biggest impact has been business being so slow. In the beginning no one wanted to print anything. Our greatest challenge is getting customers.
BKN: What are 1 or 2 actions you've taken because of the pandemic?
TH: We decide to do digital marketing to keep things going. We have posted encouragement on social media, as well as offering to promote other businesses.
BKN: What has been your biggest learning since you've been a business owner?
TH: The importance of personal relationships with customers has been my biggest learning. People want to business with people they like and trust.

BKN: What is most inspiring to you today?
TH: If I can make one person happy, that makes my day, that inspires me to keep going.
