CP: Colin Peet, Marketing Manager

HG: Holly Groce, Clemmons Family Law

CP: What do you do and how long have you done it?

HG: We own a family law practice and we have been practicing attorneys since 2020.

CP: Who would you describe as your best customer or target customer?

HG: Anyone going through family law issues such as divorce, child support, custody, alimony or just simple child support recalculation. Anyone in our community.

CP: What has been the biggest impact of COVID-19 on your business?

HG: We had to close the office and to work from home, we couldn't have any staff in the office. Our business had just opened 3 weeks prior to being shut down.

CP: What are one or two actions you've taken because of the pandemic?

HG: Doing telephone or Zoom conferences with new and existing clients. We have shifted to office conferences with social distance and wear mask. The court allows us to use WebX for our proceedings.

CP: What has been your biggest learning since you've been a business owner?

HG: The level of IT that is required, we had never managed that on our own. We had to have a high level of IT and all of the office equipment.

CP: What is most inspiring to you right now?

HG: When I'm able to get a good result for a child or a family to help them. It's very rewarding. It can be stressful, but you have that end goal in mind for the client and helping to get them there.
